Instarooter Inc. respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What We Collect

We collect very little. The only personal information this website gathers is what you choose to send us through our contact form:

• Your name
• Your email address
• The message you write

That’s it. We don’t ask for your address, payment details, or any other personal information through this site.

Why We Collect It

We use this information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry. If you contact us about a blocked drain, we need to be able to write back to you about your blocked drain.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We don’t add you to a mailing list unless you specifically ask us to.

Where It Goes

Messages sent through our contact form are delivered to info@instarooter.com and stored on our email server. Our website and email are hosted on servers located in Toronto, Canada, so your information stays in Canada.

We keep enquiries for as long as they’re useful for serving you, and we delete them when they’re no longer needed.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies WordPress needs to function properly, plus one that remembers whether you’ve dismissed our cookie notice. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party marketing pixels on this site.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site will still work.

Spam Protection

Our contact form includes a simple arithmetic question to prevent automated spam submissions. It doesn’t collect any information about you.

Google Business Profile

If you leave us a review on Google, that review and your Google profile name are public and governed by Google’s own privacy policy, not this one. We can reply to reviews but we cannot delete them.

Your Rights

Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a copy of it, ask us to correct it if it’s wrong, and ask us to delete it.

To make any of these requests, email us at info@instarooter.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top.
